The National Metadata Structure (NMDS 2.0) aims to standardize data representation, clarify data sources and collection methods, and enhance dataset discoverability. It seeks to improve understanding of public data, including census and survey data. NMDS 2.0 has been distributed to Ministries/Departments for implementation and support.
