India’s Deep Ocean Mission is set to revolutionize deep-sea exploration with the development of the Matsya 6000 submersible, capable of reaching 6000m underwater. Led by the Ministry of Earth Sciences and NIOT, this mission aims to unlock oceanic biodiversity, mineral resources, and climate insights while advancing underwater engineering and technology.
